The MultiCultural Development Center (MCDC) is a leader in the area of cultural diversity education. As a front-runner in raising diversity awareness and serving as a catalyst to advance diversity-related issues in workplaces and communities, MCDC has worked with hundreds of organizations and thousands of individuals to promote cultural understanding and inclusiveness to enhance workplace performance and community relationships. Through its many programs, products and services, thousands of participants have gained new understanding and knowledge regarding the many rich cultural and ethnic heritages that make up the world in which we live. The goal of MCDC is to help build a culture of respect where the attitudes and actions of people foster mutual understanding so that people of all backgrounds can fully participate in the workplace as well as in the community.
The MultiCultural Development Center (MCDC) is a non-profit organization that has been in existence since 1991. Because of adversity issues in the workforce related to cultural differences, communication misperceptions, and the lack of understanding of various cultures, MCDC was established as a resource for businesses, government and educational institutions to help foster understanding. MCDC is an organization that not only holds educational activities, but also provides consultation, support services and resources for organizations that are striving to implement their diversity initiatives.
